Welcome to Dark Horse Enterprises, an Alaskan based horse training and human educating company offering its services throughout the state. My name is Teresa Lidner, creator, owner and operator of Dark Horse Enterprises.

I am a second generation born and raised Alaskan with a passion for horses, horses have been a part of my life since I could walk, I started riding locally and was fortunate enough to spend some time in the lower 48 riding as well. Throughout the last 20 years of saddle time I've been fortunate to work with trainers of many seats, from hunters and jumpers to cow horses, dressage and all things in between. Between my experiences in the show ring, time spent in lessons, and all the years of exploration and learning since, I have to say the greatest teacher I have ever had has been the horse himself.

My background is primarily Hunter, Jumper and Dressage based, but my passion for learning, understanding, and helping our relationship with our equine friends has led me to study the anatomy of both equine and human, as well as psychology, chiropractic, homeopathic health care, and nutrition. I've integrated this knowledge, experience (and more than a little intuition) into a firm beleiver that good horsemanship is good horsemanship, and good riding is good riding - no matter what saddle you choose.
